The conference aims to provide a forum for the presentation of high quality professional practice and research papers on sexual and reproductive health in rural settings.
SexRurality Conference 2019 will be held on 20-21 August at the RACV Goldfields Resort in Creswick. Victoria. Registrations and call for abstracts will open in May 2019.
This network relates to the clinical care and pathways for people experiencing unintended pregnancy and abortion in rural Victoria.
The network meets quarterly using video-conferencing software and at sites in Bendigo and Wodonga.
The meeting dates for 2019 are: 19 June, 9 September and 18 November.
CERSH has developed free and accredited online learning modules for rural health professionals and other interested rural workers.
A new module has just been launched:
Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC): this module focuses on how to identify patients suited to LARC, explaining the different methods to patients and learning the benefits of offering LARC to rural patients.
There are now 11 modules available on different facets of rural sexual health care.
